Grant Cowan

Grant is a Sydney-born visual and graphic artist who specializes in fashion illustration and whose work conveys a nostalgic glamour not seen since the heyday of the 1940s and 50s, such as Rene Gruau.

After completing a Diploma of Fashion Design at East Sydney Technical College, he lectured in fashion illustration at various design colleges in Sydney before moving to London to expand his professional horizons.

Grant is a regular contributor to fashion and beauty magazines such as Harpers Bazaar, Vogue, Red and Elle Magazine, from stunning fashion & trend illustrations to beautiful step-by-step fashion tips. Grant has also created numerous book jackets for major publishers.

In 2009/20010 Grant collaborated with Harper Collins Publishers to create the hugely successful "Dreaming of Dior" & "Dreaming of Chanel", fashion memoirs penned by the author Charlotte Smith.
